Located at The Project on Bath Street, Ilkeston, Arena Community Foodbank was established to address the needs in Cotmanhay and Ilkeston, where many individuals and families struggle to afford basic necessities.

Initially operating from The Arena on Rutland Street and supported by Arena Church donations, the foodbank has grown from a small operation to a full warehouse.

Arena Foodbank has existed for many years and has been and continues to be in high demand by people in need in our community. These range from people on benefits to workers on low income, from single people to families with children. There are many outside organisations/agencies who refer to our foodbank including, but not limited to social services, local schools, GP surgeries, probation services, local police service, and other organisations that work directly with families with children. We give out food packs along with toiletries, nappies and baby milk (where required and available). We collect weekly donations from local bakeries and give out this produce alongside the food pack.
